Lateral Lining - T-Liners

We line laterals. Laterals or house service drains, when clogged with roots or calcite or where they are constructed of inferior materials suffer a high rate of blockages with the resultant eventual loss of an essential service. This is one of the sewer problems that everybody hears about and is the one phone call that all infrastructure owners don't want to get.

This video shows each of the steps in the process of installing a T-Liner.

Digging these pipes up to fix them is costly no matter how its measured. There's the damage to trees and vegetation, the big carbon footprint with all the dump trucks and heavy equipment, the damage to driveways, retaining walls, newly paved driveways, and high value surface features / buried infrastructure to contend with. Add in a mixture of angry resident, restoration difficulties and the sometimes very high cost of the work, its no wonder that lateral lining is so popular.

While not all laterals can be lined (due to geometry or line sag issues), most can. While lining is simple in theory, the process, can be difficult due to wide variety of conditions that are found in the field and the inherent small size of these pipes compared to traditional CIPP lining projects.

Lateral Lining - T-LinersOur "T-Liner" is a once piece full hoop liner at the main line that extends all the way up the lateral to the property line or the house (depending on the clients requirements). The T-Liner is a patent protected system that adheres to the the very tight ASTM F2599-06 standard. The T-liner is manufactured in a high quality controlled environment and is custom ordered from the factory for each lateral in accordance with a professionally engineered design stamped by a Professional Engineer. The T-Liner is the premier lateral lining system in the world and is the only system that can guarantee a verifiable non leaking connection at the main sewer line. In other words its the only liner that stops water infiltration. Other liners merely move the infiltration problem to the saddle connection.

When there is an infiltration or inflow problem to be solved or where there are issues with root infiltration or calcite buildup around the lateral service mouth at the main sewer line - this is the only product that will solve your problem. The manufacturer, LMK Enterprises, contains a wealth of additional information.
